3. Brief Introduction To Workshop : Apart from the personal pleasure of sharing and writing about your work, publishing a paper adds that all important additional line on your resume! However writing and publishing is easier said than done, more so in educational research. Scholars often wonder, why their meticulously planned and executed work fails at the editor’s desk. Scholarly writing an art and science as well. Steered by faculty with a reputed record in publishing and editorial acumen and expertise, this interactive and hands-on workshop aims to appraise the participants about the basic and finer tenets of scholarly writing and publishing and help them acquire the requisite basic skills of writing a good scholarly paper.
4. Who Should Attend? Anyone who wishes to publish their scholarly work, including all delegates, Faculty members, MEU members, Curriculum Committee members
5. Intended Outcomes: At the end of the workshop, the participants will be sensitized to basic tenets of scholarly writing and publishing, plagiarism, publication ethics and quality parameters of a journal. With a unique hands-on format they will work through published articles, and apply the principles learnt.
